Here are some things you can do to help keep your account safe and secure:
- Don't engage in any disputes with other unknown accounts on Hobbmate.
- Pick a strong password. Use a combination of more than six character including numbers, alphabets and special characters (like $ and # or Emojis for extra security). It should be different from other passwords you use elsewhere on the internet.
- Change your password regularly, especially if you see a message or email from Hobbmate asking you to do so. During automated security checks, Hobbmate may sometimes recover login information that was stolen from other sites. If we detect that your password may have been stolen, changing your password on Hobbmate and other sites or apps helps to keep your account secure and prevent you from being hacked in the future.

- Make sure your email account is secure. Anyone who can log into your email can probably also access your Hobbmate account. Change the passwords for all of your email accounts and make sure that no two are the same.
- Log out of Hobbmate when you use a phone you share with other people.
