Hello Parents! We're glad you're taking the time to read about Safety on Hobbmate.
If you're new to it, Hobbmate is a free photo and video sharing mobile app dedicated to help its users share what they love and make meaningful connections. People can upload photos or videos to our service and share them with their followers or with a select group of friends or chat with anyone. They can also view, comment and like posts shared by their friends on the platform. Anyone 13 and older can create an account by registering an email address and selecting a username.

If you believe your child's photo was shared without proper permission or right, or want a photo of your child to be removed from Hobbmate, learn how to Report it.
We remove posts that don't follow our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines. Please note that people own the rights to the images they've taken and shared on the platform. If there's no violation of the mentioned guidelines and terms, we may not be able to help you unless required to do so by law.
However you can still block the account from all interactions with you.
If you think your teen faced bullying/abusive/inappropriate content or behavior on the platform, we take it very seriously, please report it to us immediately and we will take the required actions to stop it. Please include as much details as you can in the report, including the username or link to post and the reason you're reporting the account/post.
Please also talk to your kids and educate them about general internet safety. If they're experiencing abuse from other people on the platform, ask them to use blocking and our privacy settings.

It's important to note that if your teen is a victim of abusive behavior on our service, we're unable to provide non-public information (like the offending person’s email address) without a search warrant or subpoena from law enforcement. If there's an emergency, we suggest contacting your local police department. Get more information about law enforcement.
